Thanks Mike for these brilliant photos. I've a feeling that somewhere out there is a recreation of 6003VC that we came across at a show. Possibly Stoneleigh?

Can heartily recommend this event (it eventually took place in September 2021). One of our favourite show days out last year, hope it happens again in 2022.

I had a similar problem with the bottom hinge, except that rather than fall apart it had worn to such an extent that the pedal had a disconcerting 'side to side' movement. The attached spring was rusted and in bits. I sourced a NOS pedal through ebay and a fitting kit from Chic Doig and all is ok now.
