I'm going with a bespoke fabrication with my local garage that specialises in upgrading exhaust systems. It'll be built to my spec ... we'll know by the end of the week if I've made the right choice....

Thanks @blubayou . I'm waiting for a quote in from a local fabricator, as an engineer with an idea of material and labour costs it grates on me when I pay over the odds for off the shelf items. We'll see how successful I am with some cost savings.

@pmus44 did you go for a phoenix option in the end? I'm looking at the same options for my Mk4, leaning towards the large bore system at the moment with the mid silencer but some feedback on it would be great.
