  1. Standard Brick cleaner works ok its around 10% pure hydrochloric acid takes a weekend to soak and work, but is easy to buy from any diy store. This is 32% works extremely well is very strong and needs to be handled well! will clean to bear metal in minutes, Not so good on aluminium it will melt a piston! A full Chassis Dipping Process will soon be under way I will post the results. I'm hoping that the full external and internal will be cleaned.
  2. Hi, I know many of you out there included myself are faced with the challenge of cleaning suspension components! Im asked many of times as to the best way, easiest way and quickest way We use a number of methods here, on this vertical link we used acid dipping thought i would post a couple of pictures of the results. Worked very well and has the added bonus of freeing up that seized lower bolt! K and N Engineering Kent Limited added 3 new photos— at K and N Engineering Kent Limited
  3. Possibly the worst chassis ive ever seen, A real mix up of silicon, wax oil, poor welds, rust and filler yes filler repairs! Anyway ive posted this for two reasons firstly to hopefully bring a little light to those that have rust or need chassis repairs take a look at the pictures and im sure yours will seem gold plated compared to this. Secondly im completely shocked that this herald in its dangerous and un roadworthy condition had only just run out of mot and from inspection should not of been issued with a mot for years!! Externally this herald looked in very good condition. P.S we dont usally scrap anything Triumph hence our full workshop of Triumph spares. But i think this one has seen its last days
