    Belated thanks for the replies, guys, for some reason I was unable to log on earlier but now got straight in. Well, that saves me a bit of bother anyway! I fitted a pair of 4 branches to a 289 Mustang and it made a huge difference, felt like about 20 more horses were released.

    Does anyone know if a Mk 2 Spitfire 4 branch manifold will fit the later Mk 4 engine ? And if so, is it worth bothering anyway ? Thanks, Anthony

    Ford now produce an electric motor, fairly powerful I think, for $4000.
