Spoke to James Paddock yesterday and he says there are only 2 pumps. One with screw connectors and one with tails. The tail type needs a spacer. I have the one with screw connectors, there’s know way it will fit without a spacer. Trying to fit it with the cam off, it pushes on the lever. With the cam at full lift you can’t bolt the pump back to the block. I removed the studs and bolted the pump on with longer bolts and turned some 1/2” spacers on the lathe. The pump works perfect. I’ve checked the engine number and it’s comes up as early 13/60 which is correct. So no idea what’s the issue.

The new fuel pump will need a spacer the old one didn’t.

Can someone tell me what’s the correct fuel pump for a 13/60. Just ordered one from James Paddock. It looks like it will need a spacer and the input fuel line changing. The output looks like it will take a standard 1/4 barrel olive but the input side looks like it need some type of olive / fitting. The bottom of the hole looks tapered.

Sorry should have explained better, by narrower I mean the overall width.
I will get it down from the loft in the workshop and get some measurements.

In my spares pile I have a recon rack that appears to be triumph herald but is narrower than what’s on my 13/60. Anyone got an idea what it’s off.
Could it be a 948 ??

No, but some suppliers do supply longer rings in the kit than others so the gap when fitted can vary.
Thanks

Should the ends of the clip overlap
