Thanks, I'll look for the allen screws. Then I think there'll be just enough room to get to the nuts. I guess i'll find out why they're not captive when I've got it apart. TRs are much easier. JJC

Well, I tried but unfortunately the cross head screws do not go into captive nuts - just loose nuts . It requires a spanner to hold the nut. That doesn't seem possible without removing or at least loosening the instrument cluster. So unless someone knows a different route do the knobs on the heater controls pull off to allow the panel to move out? It's a GT6 Mk2. JJC

Trying to remove the dashboard support bracket to remove gearbox for rebuild in GT6 Mk2. The screws on the floor were obvious and easy but I can't see where the fixings are at the top. A bit of guidance would be much appreciated. JJC
