  1. Anyone own this car on the forum or in the club? A friend of mine owned it and I have some history to give to the owner. It looks like it has been SORN'd since 2004 so hoping it is either being restored (again) or sitting in a garage somehwere, lovely car with cosmic alloys and a tan interior.

    Thanks

  2. Had some fun with the starter, sent it off for a full refurb with Powerlite, superb service, quick turnaround and back on the car within the week. Not straightforward as I have a Dolomite 1500 flywheel fitted to my engine which needs the pre-engaged starter and I didn't fancy removing the engine to replace the flywheel. Long story but the stupid type of thing you do to keep the car on the road when it is your only transport back in the early 90s :)

I was mis-informed.  The HSE still states air fed respiratory protection  should be used for any reactive paint, which includes those containing isocyanates, even for small areas.  Half masks with filters are only acceptable for solvent based paints such as cellulose.  If your primer does not contain isocyanates then your mask and filters may be suitable.

It's just not worth taking the risk, keep it safe.
