Just ordered some new front springs as the wheel arches are catching the front tyres. A combination of lowered front springs and non-standard wheels.

Anyone own this car on the forum or in the club? A friend of mine owned it and I have some history to give to the owner. It looks like it has been SORN'd since 2004 so hoping it is either being restored (again) or sitting in a garage somehwere, lovely car with cosmic alloys and a tan interior.
Thanks

Had some fun with the starter, sent it off for a full refurb with Powerlite, superb service, quick turnaround and back on the car within the week. Not straightforward as I have a Dolomite 1500 flywheel fitted to my engine which needs the pre-engaged starter and I didn't fancy removing the engine to replace the flywheel. Long story but the stupid type of thing you do to keep the car on the road when it is your only transport back in the early 90s

I was mis-informed. The HSE still states air fed respiratory protection should be used for any reactive paint, which includes those containing isocyanates, even for small areas. Half masks with filters are only acceptable for solvent based paints such as cellulose. If your primer does not contain isocyanates then your mask and filters may be suitable.
It's just not worth taking the risk, keep it safe.

Honestly I wouldn't go near this without an airfed mask and appropriate filters or just use cellulose. You only have one set of lungs.

New Yokos being fitted this week along with tracking all done at home, still flatting back but almost finished then time to test drive.

I've just purchased a bag press to recover lots of my bits (have a TR4A to do as well). Hoping this will give an even finish.

I think they are Cobras, I did want Cosmic Superslots when I was looking but these were the closest at the time. Not sure what to do regarding refurbing these as I'm not keen on them polished up. They seem to sit better than the dolomite sprint wheels I had on previiously.

Just been reading a few threads on here about lack of storage of photos etc, seems ridiculous that this is the case given that storage is next to nothing. Surely it is better to host all images for the benefit of members and non members?

Thanks, I guess too much could find its way onto the brake shoes.

Thanks, I'll investigate further.

Those are the J-type overdrive sump filter and high pressure filter.
I should clean these on my car as well given the gunk that came out. Are they easy to remove? I'll investigate this weekend.

I thought about spacers but I think new springs will have the same affect, hopefully.
