Niha Posted June 17, 2016 Report Share Posted June 17, 2016 Hi everyone, My 1975 Stag has a type 35 auto gearbox. My speedometer systematically reads 10% low (i.e. indicates 100 kph when driving 110 kph). The tyres are 185/70R14 as original. I was wondering if the speedo drive gear could have been swapped by a former owner for one for type 65 or manual gearbox (or are they physically not interchangeable ?) or is it just the speedo that needs recalibrating?
