Ok, can I ask where you got the spring from?
I refurbished an Original Spring, stripping it down and de-rusting/re-painting, fitting new Thrust buttons between the leaves and new Polybush Spring eye bushes, it took a few hours and only cost £25 or so.
I was happy with the results, a Mk2 Vitesse should have around 1 to 2 degrees positive camber at the rear, I take it you've got more positive camber than this?
The spring was from Canley Classics. I'll take a picture and try and post it on here.

You need to drive the car to let it settle ideally, or at least roll the car backwards and forwards to let it settle.
Have you got the Body built up on the Chassis yet?
Ye the body is all on and car has been moved and bounced. Just concerned that it won't sit any lower when it's finished and I'd rather alter spring now rather than later

Hi, I'm restoring a mk2 Vitesse and have fitted a new rear spring with a 3/4 inch lowering block but I think the ride height is to high ( around 2 1/2 inches from top of tyre to arch. The car runs on minilites. The car isn't finished yet so hasn't been driven but I don't think it is going to naturally sit much lower. I have found a company that can retention the spring to lower it or I could fit an old spring that has sagged over time. When I brought the car ir sat really nicely at the back. Ant thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi, I'm looking for a company to do the bodywork on my mk2 Vitesse. All the metal work is done. Needs filler repairs doing and full respray and bolting body back together. Have been looking at JY Classics Ltd. Can anyone recommend them or another triumph specilist. I'm in the Midlands but prepared to travel. Thanks
