tomtribe
Appreciate any help, guidance, advice or offers re the following... I have inherited a 1967 Triumph Herald 1200 which had done a very low mileage and was garaged for the past 30 years. The interior is in very good condition, but the exterior has rusted and although the car is rolling, I believe the mechanical aspects are in need of some serious TLC. I wondered whether or not anyone here may have any interest in it as a doer-upper, or have any other advice with regards what might be best to do with it? I had made enquiries about having it restored myself but the likely cost has deterred me due to other more pressing commitments and nowhere long-term to store it. Any suggestions you may have would be appreciated. It seems a shame to just scrap it...
mishmosh
a restoration will always cost morethan the value. However many will be prepared to do it for themselves. Whats your location? theres bound to be a local club.
