carpet stud locations

Hi, 

While fitting new carpets in my Spitfire I came up with this idea. I'm sure I'm not the first but thought I'd share it.

To mark the position of the button clips on the floor/bulkhead (slightly recessed into layer of sound insulstion) I put a light dab of white paint on them, held the carpet in place and pushed down onto the clips, carefully lifted out and perfect round marks where popper studs to be fitted. Hope this is of use to someone.
