Hi...someone will have been through this already...so help please.. My car was registered in November 1982...so its 40 years old... But I've just had a tax renewal notice (for £295) from DVLA ...it expires on 31 March 2023, and there was me thinking it was exempt this year. On the Gov.UK site it states... 'You can apply to stop paying for vehicle tax from 1 April 2022 if your vehicle was built before 1 January 1982'...but no reference to when 'you' can stop paying from April 2023... I've done a bit of ferreting around on the internet (e.g. there is a leaflet INF34) and it looks as if I have to fill in a V10 form and take it to a post office ( )...and it is, in fact, exempt, even though I've been billed for it.. Any comments would be welcomed....especially if I can avoid having to visit a Post Office! Thanks, Kevin

Just come across an article regarding French environmental zones...one of these is at Rouen..apparently been in place since Oct 2018. Cant find any definitive rules regarding classics and these zones, apparently there is no system for designation of Crit'Air stickers etc.. As I always get lost in Rouen when I drive through it down to Le Mans and and up driving around it for an hour...just wondered if anyone had any knowledge about classics and environmental zones in France. Actually, I did spend a night in a hotel on the way down last year without any problems...

I did phone Head Office regarding plans...and they are well in hand. Angie is still involved apparently, so its business as usual re. LeMans it seems...😀

Or are they organising a trip at all, now the wonderful Angie has retired? Usually we get some notification... The tickets are on sale now on the ACO site - onsite camping is available at Beausejour and Epinettres; its sold out at Maison Blanche already.. Neither are a patch on TR..(no pun intended lol)
