yes I do that anyway, it's just that things would be so much simpler if you could set which way around you would like the posts in a thread to be displaid. Newest or oldest post first.
I find that Newest post first make it much easyer to follow

Thanks for the comments. On all the other forums I am on.( this is the only Triumph ) there is a setting in our preferences that allow you to set first or last in a thread, but I can’t find it on here, maybe there isn't one?
The unread route is a good one but then it is difficult to find the thread again. A which way round option would be a good one. It's more convenient when I just want a quick read of a forum.

Is there a way to get the latest (newest) post to come up first. I've look in my settings but can not see a post setting section.
At the moment when I click on a subject thread, it will show the first post (oldest) in that thread. which means you have to click on the next page and the next until you find the newest post. Can this be changed so it goes strat to the newset post?

yes it is
I had to sell due to loosing anywhere to keep it. A hard decision but it was getting damaged where it was. So it had to go to someone that would care for it. Luckily Canley classics stepped up and saved the day.

haveing say all that if any one buys it and wants to sell the seats etc I could be interested ?

could be a "stick a lod of bits together and call it a barn find" job
the dash would be right going by the size of the speedo just with a after market faceing it even has the blue/grey stering wheel and collum.
acording to the mot check site
Date registered 9 September 1986

spotted this on flea-bay
reconds it is a 1200 by the boot badgeing but the dash and the rear light surround and the seat suggest it is a 948.
wot do you recon?

I have used a few over the years. From elbow grease to paint-ons. But now find a product called Fertan is by far the best.
I have used it on my tractors, ride-on mowers, antique door locks and my coupe any thing that has rusty metal. Brilliant stuff.

Here's a picture of what looks to be the same or a very similar bar mounted on the front of a GT6 Mk3:

Hi Folk's
been going through some bits in the garage. my 36 year rebuild on my herald coupe is still going. front end done so I thought I'd fit the badge bar I bought many moons ago at beauliegh auto jumble. if i remember it was sold as suitable for a herald or vitesse. Didn't cross my mind to try it at the time but now I can see it will not fit.
It is supposed to fit on the top bolts of the overidgers ( I think). any one got any idea what it would fit. I'm thinking a spitfire or GT6. According to the pack the par number is 577164 which does not match ether the 948/1200 (559931) or 13/60 (570107) and can't find anything on tinternet.
measurement are
mounting bracket centers 65cm. 5cm center from bottom of bar and the front is angled out 5cm

you all probably know all about it but I have just got mine and it is fascinating. having had 948's since 1979 and still restoring this sort of publication is brilliant. it puts in order all the cuttings and magazine articles and books that we herald nuts collect over the years. A brilliant bit of work.

I have posted pictures on a number of forums. and by far the easiest way is to host the picture on a photo site like flikr or Photobucket.
you can sign up to these from any device and most are free. unless you went some fancy hosting gallery.
all you do is sign up. with photobucket you can do it with your facebook account or direct in photobucket.
sign in and create a new folder. and upload your photos to that folder. just follow the on screen instructions, very simple
once you have the photos uploaded. click on "view upload" or library/ view library
then pick the library you uploaded them to
find the picture you want you post to the forum and click on the Direct box code.
right click and copy
then on the TSSC forum posting area click on the insert picture icon.
and bingo picture posted. and TSSC saves on hosting space.
the only thing to remember is. If you move or delete any of the picture from the folder you upload them too, the picture will disappear form the places you have posted them.
if you upload all your photos the added advantage is you'll have safe storage for all you family photo's
SIMPLE's

acording to the parts manual early Herald came with
tool kit no, 205677
1 pouch, 122746
1 tool (comination) 59427
3 spanners 101089 122745 59426
1 gauge 60126
but no idea what sizes the spanners were
eraly Heralds jack and tool kit went at the back of the fuel tank.
and later ones and vitesse Ibeleve went on the other side. probably due to the larger fuel tank.
