I would like to wire in a ammeter to my Vitesse but have been told numerous ways to wire it in that make no sense to me. I don't want to blow the smiths ammeter. Can anyone help? I know one lead needs to connect to the battery but where does the second lead coonect to the dynamo. Any help would be great.

Thanks

Frank

you need to fit the gauge in line in the brown wire that comes from the starter solenoid to the fuse box/ign switch

then you show charge and discharge

Its far safer and easier to fit a volt meter to show battery condition, just fit in any white wire and earth

You dont need heavy wiring and less risk of fire
