alan.gilbert_6384
Hi all, I have just changed over to trunnionless, and now have the tyres contacting the inner wheel arch when articulated (the inner lip where the outer and inner structure comes together). I am on 175, 70, 13, these were not a problem before. The spring length at rest with car weight is 7' 1/8'', any ideas ??? Cheers.
Alex Lowe
I seem to be having a similar issue with tyre rubbing on the bulkhead tunionless is one of the changes I have made. Are they sided perhaps although I don’t remember anything like this.
alan.gilbert_6384
Hi, I don't believe the trunionless are sided, my issue is the springs, they need to be 8" fitted length minimum (car on the ground). I got this 8" after fitting spacers above the shocks. Rubbing on bulk head is another issue I think. Your gaps should be door to rear wing 5mm, door to bonnet 8mm, door to cill 4 or 5 mm. Hope that helps
