Colin Lindsay
I've bought Herald rear seat covers from Newtown Commercial but they're different to my existing ones. There's a large 'flap' that seems to overhang the top edge - top left of the pair below. On my 1200s this top edge is thin material that hooks round the curved metal seat frame, there's much less material, and the frame then pushes over the bodytub frame. There's far too much material and padding here for that. I suspect as they're 13/60 covers they're more heavily padded than the earlier ones, so does this 'flap' attach along the top - for the poppers for the hood bag - then just hang over the back into the hood well? Can't see where else it goes.
Josef
What you describe for your 1200 seats sounds the same as my 13/60’s seat construction. There’s definitely nothing just hanging over in to the hood well.

You can see it very clearly in this photo of the black cover. It's not - and I've checked - upside down!
