Sales Manager waste of time?

Used car dealers in Lincolnshire with motor sport connections and recent classic car showroom/sales.

 

Just out of interest I phoned the Sales Manager about a possible p/ex with my GT6 on a car ( a classic) 

 

which I know has been on the usual websites for many months. He asked me about mine and said he 

 

would be interested,  the conversation ended with  'O.K. Leave it with me and I will get back to you.'

 

That was A.M.  Monday,    I am still waiting for a reply!

 

I thought that he was employed to try and make a sale.

Still waiting for the owner of an early Spitfire for sale to get back to me about a viewing.... since last December. I was told about it in August and made contact, then heard nothing until December, when two selected dates for viewing didn't suit. We agreed to leave it until after Christmas, when he'd contact me again. Still waiting. It's still for sale, and lying in the shed where it has been for ten years... so I'll maybe try again in the near future. You'd think if he really wanted it sold and moved he'd try a bit harder....

So in your case John.... two days isn't really that long....
