Gadgetman
I’ve modified my 1600 flywheel to take the later style clutch cover / plate. I know I need to replace the release bearing carrier for the later type but do I need a different clutch release bearing actuating arm as well? Pete Lewis
quick note coil covers have a thicker disc 9.3mm than a diaphragm disc 8.3mm get them mixed and bad news thick disc in a diaphragm has light pedal and no clamp load. simple to test clamp disc lining light nip in a vice to compress the progession plates and measure across the jaws with a rule .... how thick Pete
Gadgetman
I’ve bought a later style new old stock 3 piece clutch kit so hopefully it should all be good
Pete Lewis
Hopefully the new throw out brg, is 19mm thick many repromodern are only 15mm thick so the lever losses leverage Only solution is fit a washer under the spherical post to get the levers see saw in balance Pete
