Part no. 80/1717 I think GT6 Mk2 spring is probably worth a go, especially if used and a bit saggy! Nick

Its the kit that's used nowadays and is a good thing. You just want a pair of Spitfire shock absorbers instead." This is true - except they do physically fit, they will just be more or less fully closed in the normal running position so constantly bouncing off the internal bump stops. The "normal" swing axle shocks are slightly too long for the extension brackets and their effective rate is slightly increased by the reduced operating angle, but they actually work fine. I've run OE Armstrong ones on my roto Vitesse for 30 years. Possibly there is some variation between different makes. Nick
GFL
Ray I Have sent you a PM with some Info on the Shocks, they are 80-1717 and some mods are required to the Bushes A couple of Photos of the Bushes, spacer washers and bolt at the Top, I drilled out slightly the existing bush at the bottom to suit? RayHutch
Thanks Gary, good information. Just got to wait now for someone to have a look at them or is this a simple, home fix?
RayHutch
Had the rear suspension checked out, the problem was identified as broken Rotoflex donuts, the shocks were actually fine. All changed and ride much better now.
