Temporary Fuel Tank

Hello All

               I thought is about time I got our Mk2 Vitesse going!

So after fitting a new master cylinder(seized!) I needed to put petrol in it but rather than put some in the tank(in case it leaks or is dirty)

I thought I know I will use a small oil can with a tap on it I made up about 55 Years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So here it is in operation and it did the trick.

Talk about never throwing things away?

ps She started up straight away after I spun it for a while to get the oil around before I turned on the petrol and primed the cab's
