Now fitted with wood rimmed mountney wheel I have the original wheel but the centre badge is missing . Two questions. A)I seem to remember it had BL or leyland in the middle I am purchasing the guide to spitfires but not sure steering wheel centres would be covered. has any one refurbished a wheel . Colin Lindsay Posted September 22, 2019 Report Share Posted September 22, 2019 Steering wheels changed at FH100,020 and again at FH130,000 but I'm of the opinion they all had Triumph badges in the centre ie a black or silver badge with the single word Triumph across it? Earlier wheels had three silver arms with slots, later ones had three solid silver-coloured arms and the latest ones had three black spokes.
