Help in identifying mounting

Recommended Posts

D type overdrive mounting, original type

No longer available (for many years) so the j type is now supplied, http://www.jamespaddock.co.uk/gearbox-mounting-overdrive-3

I had a look at the canleys pages, but they have  a slight error with their diagram for the d type overdrive, the rubber part they point to comes up as a mounting plate, the upper part (not included on your picture) is given as the part I have shown here. So be careful! As the supplied mounting is a little different, it is possible you may need to redrill the mounting holes, but years since I have done one.
