mark powell Posted July 19, 2020 Report Share Posted July 19, 2020 I've been rebuilding my Midge (1500 Spit engine, not started for ages..) The time came to start her up, you guessed it, No Spark! Posted on the Midge forum, No spark.. Check supply to coil, ok. Check coil ohms, ok. Check negative side of coil, something amiss, I suspected the old Magnetronic system to be faulty (15 yrs old at least..) Substituted the original set of points and Bingo! A healthy spark!
