So,i have Avo adjustable shocks on the front of my Vitesse and Herald,i like the ride adjustable height and bounce which is why i didn,t go Koni.

Problem is they eat bottom bushes because of the angle of the shock,i bought some spherical bearings which are supposed to be a solution, however

the spherical bearing centres are 1/2 inch which is around 12mm,the old sleeves are about 11mm,the bolt is 7/16.

There is about 1mm+ of free play in the bearing sleeve which i think is 1mm too much.Merlin said they don`t know of an alternative bearing.

Do i get a bigger bolt and drill the wishbone bigger or maybe consider original rubber bushes?.

I`m going Koni on the rear btw.

Advice appreciated.
