The chassis is good (no rot) but has a quarter section replaced front nearside.

Hi all
Long shot but wondering if anyone has a second hand GT6 vinyl sunroof squirreled away I could buy? At the start of a restoration of my GT6 Mk2 and mine is shot.
My good friend is doing the restoration which is very handy because he is very good. You can follow it on his youtube page here. Many thanks. Rich

Hello
I recently took the inlet manifold off a spit 1500 and found that the 2 mounting points between the Inlet and exhaust manifold had sheared (they are on the inlet manifold).
These mounting points are in addition to the 6 main bolts holding the inlet manifold on to the block. Does anyone know how essential these 2 mountings are please? I'm guessing this is a common problem.
Many thanks for any advice.

Hi all
My 1500 spit (76) won't go into gear. It was fine, then started crunching into some gears now impossible to engage unless the engine isn't running. Actual engagement is very low on the pedal. No fluid leaks.
Bled clutch. Was fine for a bit then started doing exacrly the same.
I was about to change the slave but do you think it could be the master?
Any advice appreciated.
Many thanks

Blimey thats really bad. Prompted me to ask Moss and they only supply imperial threads for anything they say (inc Borg & Beck). Thanks for that.

Helloo. Does anybody have any experience of using XRN Engineering parts over Borg & Beck please (which are twice the price) in terms of quality / long lasting. Changing the Clutch Slave Cylinder (spit 1500).
Apologies - couldn't find the correct forum for clutch matters.
Many thanks for any advice, much appreciated.

Hello
I'm looking to change all the interior trim of my GT6 Mk2. Anyone recommend the best place to go i.e want it to look original! Looking for a company that goes the extra mile.
I'm on the Wirral but willing to transport the car anywhere.
Apologies, I'm sure this must have been asked before (but couldn't find anything).
Many thanks
Rich.

Hi all
I am looking to have my GT6 Mk2 engine rebuilt but because my engine has been modified already, I'm looking for a company /somebody who will recognise whats non standard (like high lift cam profiles etc) and properly set it up to suit the components or recommend a change. I'm thinking it needs a specialist beyond the norm.
I actually rebuilt it myself many years ago but I can't remember what I did to it now - and frankly it never ran well
Can anybody recommend anyone please?
Many thanks for any advice
