[KYK711D Vitesse 1600/6 Convertible - Front Overiders]

Hi!  Has anyone had their Front Overiders Chromed?  Mine need some dents knocked out and re-chroming!  Any Idea what the cost is and nearest to S. Wales!  Unable to fine any at Canleys, Rimmers or Paddocks?

Having Neary!! Completed my 1966 Vitesse 1600/6 which I purchased and dismantled in 1998?  I thought about now changing the Tax from PLG to Historic Vehicle for Tax purposes!  I went onto the DVLA Website and found that I needed to fill in a V10 & V112 and needed my V5?  "NOT"   The Postmaster simply Keyed in the Registration, changed the V5 from Plg to Historic, asked me to Sign the Form V5 and handed it back saying All Done"  How easy was that, and now I'm Cuffed!!

Points Noted!  This one is on Ebay and looking at it , it might be wrong?  So might well use fibreglass and reenforce my original tunnel!

Hi!  There is a Herald Fibreglass Tunnel for Sale?  Would this fit a Vitesse 6?  I understand that a Viteese can be fitted on a Herald, but would the Herald fit on the Vitesse is it just the position of the Hole?

Hi Jim!  If you look at my site ref Acc Pedals there are some photos of Floor Plans and the Different Pedals on there?  Like you I had my Floor Plan changed due to rot and there where no fitting marks , so I had to place the Pedal Fittings and see which was the best for me on my Vitesse 1600/6!

Hi All!  I have the "Organ Pedal" which is the right one for my late/last of the 1600/6s!  The problem I have now is that there are no guides/Holes marked for the Accelerator Pedal to fit into the correct location on the footwell panel??  One of my theories is that,  I was due to order footwell mat to go on top of the main carpet and that has a "Cut Out" where the pedal base fits??  (As a Guide?) Or dues anyone have any Ideas??

Hi All!  I'm Back To Square One LOL!  Started this back in Mar 2022!  Too add, I took the cover off too find that Rimmer sent me "Square" Bushes and mine needed the Triangle type!  Anyway these where in good condition so cleaned everything up.  Turned it over Twice every month until January 2023 when I went in for a Prostate operation!  Only now have I been able to restart it! NOT!  She is not engaging so tried turning the bendex? with a spanner? still no joy altho it is turning over but not catching?  I am thinking of putting a new Starter Motor on (Any Suggestions)

Update!   "Chic" has a Very Good Second hand one at £28.50!  So I've gone for it! Yeh!  Thanks everyone for the input!!  I have been trying to get thro to him for weeks lol

HI!  Excellent all I now need is the Header Rail to hold in the Rubber! Its the same as the retailers for the sides.

Hi!  Don Hoods just  emailed me a copy of the Instructions?  Not a lot of use!!  I'm only able to do small jobs on the car as I have been ill!  My concentration is minimum at present. so looking back through the "Courier" Mags is not an option.  Its taken me 3 days to fit up the Hood Frame LOL!
