  1. Just had a check through the advisories list which you helpfully pointed me towards - the only one worth any concern at all is the corrosion in the rear wings. This might be structural, but I'd be surprised - corrosion in the front wings is definitely not. Given that I had masses of welding to do on the car that followed it, I'm not bothered by any of that. But where is it?!
  2. Thanks both, I had a pretty good idea that the car might be getting rough - it was getting a bit tired when I sold it. Not a problem as it's a personal thing, really - this little car was always my wife's favourite (although that's been surpassed by our '68 Mustang fastback now), and given that I sold it in the early nineties (I think) I'd be surprised if it's been scrapped. And obviously it's not shown as scrapped on the DVLA site, although that doesn't mean much... I'd be really grateful if ROO 556M jogs anyone's memory. There was a time when I had a lot of late (non-roto) MkIIIs... ROO's on the left, back end showing Roger p.s. that wasn't all of them, either!
  3. Hello new member in search of an old car! I was the owner of a MkIII GT6, dark (Royal?) blue with pale blue cloth interior and a folding sunroof, in Cambridgeshire in the 1980s. Last I heard the car was in or around Huntingdon, but I'd love to track it down if possible. According to the DVLA, it hasn't been taxed since March 2011. Does anyone know, or have information about, its current whereabouts? Thanks, Roger
