I can't open the picture, it's the red and blue triangle with cold and not at either end, that stick on the centre console. Also the three words car screen and off on the centre console as well. Jonathan

Anyone know a source for mk iv spirits dashboard decals? Heater controls, not on the knobs as I can find these but the ones under the sliders. Not talking about indicator of headlights either.

So I'm a bluff traditionalist and quite like cellulose for its flexibility and ability to be restored. I take your points though.
Ref the to.e line it's only just now that I've realised the craking. It kind of looks like that crazed pattern but no breaks in the skin although a finger nail could feel it.
For. What unread g and hearing I think no gap, day wise between primer and top coat may. Be the amswer.
In an ideal world anyone in bristolians a paint booth😁😁

I sprayed the engine bay, windscreen frame and door.reveals of my mk I'd spirits last oct9th it was still 16 degrees and dry. Paints looked good all winter although I've just seen micro crazing like a lake bed a couple of weeks after that warm weather we've had. The car is still in the garage and basically a shell. Any ideas why it's crazed?
Oh zinc 182 primer, cellulose primer filler, cellulose top coat.

I've put four painted 15" 48 spoke wire wheels on eBay for a friend. Just thought I should have put them on here but have a look if your short. Good wheels he just went chrome. Jonathan

Josef is kindly tracing the outline on a sheet of paper to make a pattern. Much simpler and ultimately more accurate.

Josef hi, if you just traced the outline on some stuck together newspaper or similar that would work fine as a pattern. If acceptable I'll give you an address and pay the postage. Just to avoid confusion it's the panel that covers the fuel tank but is in the cockpit not the boot.

Does anyone have a pattern for a mk iv rear cockpit panel ? or one in the Bristol area that I could borrow to draw round. I am already looking for an old one to do just that, but old ones just seem to get thrown out.

Thanks for the posts, I am asking suppliers what diameter the thread is. So I'm all over it really. The question is just if anyone knows where the correct size ones can be found.

They are too small, a number of pale advertise them as suitable but they often are not. Hence the question.

Evening all,
I've been trying to find washer jets for my mk I'd spitfire but they're either so small they almost fall through the hole or they're so big they won't fit. Anyone got a good source. Moss is not on the list. And some lucas off eBay are too small too!

It's a spitfire 1300 mk iv. So it's the thick arb. No reason not to use it then. I will search for a local spring place though, great idea.
