The set up you have is very common. Indeed its what i have had twenty plus yrs. i agree however that it may be better with strengthening. If i could have found ones to attach to the wheelarch I am sure that would be preferable. Either way its an improvement on the original.

just checked. yes most are as vitesse, herald, tr4, early spit, Not sure about the roof light though. They sometimescome up as a set of tr4 switches on ebay

New , almost impossibles some are the same as vitesse mk1 and herald I think. so try ebay or go to Triumphest/ stoneleighspares day.

I put mx 5 seats in the herald Not as pretty but very comfy. Easy to fit too. Although in the herald I raised them 30mm.

Had greenstuff on the herald for yrs. better stopping and no dust. Maybe they have changed them.

I have a bbc all in one dizzy on the herald. Great product amd reasonably priced.

In the mid 80s i recall a friend having a surfboard carrier for his spit. Two frames that attached across bonnet and boot attached to wheelarches. Anyone else remember these ?
