Cant see why not. Although the lines wont relate.

Thanks. Food for thought. The original has a few stripped threads or else I wouldnt hestitate to keep it. My other herald and bond are fine

Would anyone recommend using an electric fuel pump rather than the standard. Mine needs replacing zo considering options

Roger , has a point. Despite numerous attempts, I have struggled to load pics easily, so cant be bothered. We need to rebuild the Forum and keep posting, eventually I am sure it will recover to the level it was at before. the lack of heritage seems to be part of the reason behind the lack of current postings.
If I could easily load pics from my phone, it would be great. I have a number of threads I could start but without easy pic loading it would be fairly dull

I love tinterweb, but would possibly , not renew without the printed mag. Its a physical proof of membership....

90 percent wont worry. So many have been swapped. My herald is on its third engine , a mkiv spit. And the Bond has a 1500.

Pick up went well. Very excited lad. Going to make it driveable before its pulled to bits.

good to have good reports. I cant see why you cant post contact details,as its a recommendation not a condemnation!

Spent some time sorting the gt4s. Since I changed to the 1500 engine with j type theres been a few issues ! First quite easily sorted. The exhaust gasket had blown. Only lasted 1000 miles to i refitted the exhaust to gear box bracket from the 1300. Cleaned the faces and used gasket paste only time tell. Topped up gearbox. This has used 1 litre in 1000 miles !!! It is now quieter though. Topped engine oil. 1 litre in 1000 miles ..... Now looking forward to a quieter fumeless car. Decided to stick with standard 411 diff due to the financial restrictions ! Await mr paps second hand one .....

All of my cars have plenty of soul ! Must remember that one

I would be impressed if you found one. Why not pop a standard 1200 engine in and see what you can find later. It will look fairly standard. Regarding colour. Why not use the scheme at time of build.

There are lots of coupe devotees on the tssc facebook page. Try joining up woth them.

I added an extra charging lead. Nice. Quick job

I do need to chat with Mike about my d type overhaul. Perhaps he could do me a deal !

I have a 4.11 diff thats tired and meeds rebuilding. However my car now has a 1500 with j type so would benefit from higher gearing. The slightly oversize tyres already raise the gearing by 9 percent. I am thinking about having a 389 but dont want to go to the trouble of changing all the existing good ujs. Can i get a diff rebuilt with the earlier output flanges but higher ratio gearing ?

Yours is one of the few profiles that does say who you are, not that it was too hard to guess from your forum user name!
Nearly all are bereft of information, take for instance "mishmosh", I know he is male and comes from Shrewsbury. And he owns a Bond and a Herald.
But not much else, but I do also know he is a moderator, because it says that.
Mine is no better I have to admit, but there is a clue in that it says I am the Suffolk AO... :-)
I have also noticed looking on the main site that a number of the profiles of COM members have yet to be updated from the default.
Perhaps someone needs to make something up, rather than have the default page showing.
Cheers
Colin
I Like to be mysterious..... To be honest, there are so few Bond Owning members, that a glance in the Courier will set you straight. See XUM 461J in this Months, or the article in ( I think) Januarys
