Iain T
A general question re the bearing, is it supposed to be in constant contact with the clutch cover teeth? I bled my slave cylinder and noticed it always seemed to be in contact. I could pull the fork back a small amount but not sure if this was just taking up slack in the fork/carrier or actually pulling the bearing back. Note I have the correct 19mm thick dome faced bearing. Iain
johny
yes must be in contact as theres a coil spring in the slave cylinder pushing the actuator rod outwards to take up all play. Otherwise youd have a sloppy pedal on first pressing the pedal....
