And the pictures of the assembled line workers, I think, demonstrate how posed was the event to record the 'Last Spitfire'. The one of the car in the bodyshop, with no wheels and the bonnet up, HAS to be posed! No other cars in shot! And anyway, I've seen that reproduced in the Coventry Telegraph (I think) before now. No debate on the last one started, with the highest VIN. That's the one at Gaydon. Gaydon strongly defend thier car's title, I've asked them, but the last off the line? Quite possibly not.
