Tacho has seized!

I had a noisy and erratic tacho on the GT6, I replaced the cable and it cured the noise and it stopped being erratic, for about 100 miles, then the new cable broke. Just investigated and the tacho has seized solid, looks like time to get it reconditioned. I recently had my Speedo reconditioned and found a place that was a much better price than anywhere else. They did a good job on the speedo so I'll be using them again. https://thegaugeshop.com/

Well, I just won a working used Tacho on ebay for £26 that's going to be a lot cheaper than getting one reconditioned and no wait for mine to be restored either.

My T500 is actually a '75 T500M, but it's been restored to look like a '73 T500K by the previous owner. I must admit that I think that the paint scheme is much nicer on the earlier model so I'm happy with that.

Ah. I prefer that paint myself. I always thought your scheme was the model was the model before the last T500? (M ?), which I assumed would be an L?.

I'm just doing a bit off train spotting I suppose
