Rebuilt engine oil leak

Its down to

All mk1 engines with pushrod tubes stepped head and 3/8" studs torqure 42 to 46 lbft

 

all mk2 no tubes , square head, different porting and 7/16" studs 60 to 70 lbft

just reading this backwards and  back at the start you said the obvious ...its a mk2 engine , so scrap all the waffle get us to read things and not assume

 if it definite MK2    you dont need 7/16 studs ...................you already have them

 

you do need 60 /70lbft torque on these ,
