Mk1 2ltr and 1600, are one of the same fitting and fixing bolts the only changes are the dowel holes for the coil clutch,on the 1600 which has extra one on 2 ltr .

Mk2 2ltr has bigger fixing bolts

you will need to use the 2ltr diapragm clutch and the 2 ltr withdrawl bearing carrier. Or drill new dowel points to reuse the 1600 coil cover .

I drilled some with ease, when I converted my 1600 to diaphragm.

had no rig to ensure concentricity so put a olive on the fixing bolts nipped up and this centralised the

cover holes about the fixing holes (not really the best way ) drilled new dowel hole and it was fine

for many years use

I've turned down the head of some bolts so that they are a snug fit in the cover plate holes. I can then thread these into the flywheel and position the cover plate to drill off the dowel holes.

How did you fix the dowels in? I'm looking at drill / reaming the dowel holes about 1/2 thou under size then press fitting them.
