xebec
Hello, I have an early MK3 GT6 1971 Rotoflex model which has the Philips valve between rocker cover and inlet manifold. Could someone please clarify for me which oil cap is supposed to be fitted to this model and why that particular one is necessary? Please see photo. Thanks very much, Regards Ken. Pete Lewis
if you have the smiths valve then most pictures show the valve vented cap on the left , if its the sealed but direct vacuumed without a smiths valve then its the fully sealed but if the valve semi sealed is not available or leaks like a sieve fit the fully sealed cap on the right also make sure the gauze /flame trap insert inside the rocker cover is washed out and clean Pete
