Alan C
Hi Everyone I'm in the process of replacing my rather battered and scored windscreen stainless trim and wondered if there was a trick to refitting it. It looks like a complete b*****r of a job. The workshop manual doesn't even mention it in it's windscreen removal/refitting procedure. All advice gratefully received. Cheers Alan

Alan C
Doig Thanks for the link. I've got a small repair to do on the lower driver's side frame and then I'll be tackling the stainless trim. I'll let you know how it goes. dougbgt6
Doig?!! Still could be worse. I used to work with some Russians who used to call me Dog! Didn't feel I could correct them really, them being Russian and all!
Alan C
Doug Sorry about that. Sausage fingers at work again. That pesky "I" key is too damn close to the "U" key on my laptop.
John Bonnett
I used Phoenix Screens to put a new screen in complete with the stainless trim. They fitted the trim before putting the screen in. However, I know there are folk who can fit the trim last. Phoenix did a cracking job, they came out and charged £125 plus VAT to supply and fit; money well spent.
