Ben Caswell
Does anyone recall reading an article or post about replacing the transverse spring with a beam and using coil over shocks? I'm sure I have read it somewhere !
Clive
Various people have done or tried it. KD Triumph was talking of a subaru conversion with coilovers and CV jointed driveshafts, pictures around somewhere. You do need to replace the spring with an upper wishbone. Something has to keep the top of the rear upright in place. In all honesty, I would stick with a decent rear spring which works surprisingly well.
