dellyend1
Hi All, Can I ask how the bolt that fixes the seat belt stalk to the body is fixed ? Is it a bolt that fits into a reinforced threaded mount within the body or does it bolt straight through to the underside with a spreader plate and nut on the underside ? If the latter, from experience, can you get to the bolt without removing the exhaust as seems to be tucked up in the transmission tunnel ? Apologies, have not got myself a decent set of ramps / car lift to get underneath yet Many Thanks Jeremy

That's the one, welded in place! The static belt has the same thing at the other end on the floor, but if you're fitting inertia reals they won't fit there. You have to have a plate on the other side of the wheel arch to bolt too. A thread on this a while ago, a guy reckoned that wasn't good enough and the plate should be welded, but the kit says just a plate and bolt.
