    Hello Mark,

You could try Raystede Animal Sanctuary at Ringmer in East Sussex {I am sure you know of it} they are always looking to rehome various animals; take your pick: anything from mice to donkeys !!

    Regards.

    Richard.

We are on their waiting list...   Trying to find a cat that will exist with our two dogs.   Most rehome places won't let a cat go to a home with dogs.

  2. When I fitted MX5 seats to my Herald pick-up, I supported the rearward extension of the runners with a short length of box section steel of suitable size (2" if I recall). Bolted through the floor on one face and bolted through the runner above.   Should just be visible in the photo...

  3. Great info.  I was also looking at the Eclipse one.

Leaning heavily towards the Sealey item.  I have the pop rivet variety and boy, doesn't it save time and wrist pain.

The only downside is the overall length of the drill and the tool, so awkward spaces would be a possible issue.

A fine establishment in 1974 on my Master Gunner's qualifying course, but only if you were of that persuasion.  In those days we still wore full uniform with stiff collars, boots and black patent leather gaiters (presented on qualifying at the same time as a whistle on a chain (it's a gunnery drill thing!) and a pace stick.  Deafness was normal, ear defenders were for wimps,  and the noise level in the Wardroom bar horrendous!

I was mis-informed, he served at HMS Excellent between the wars, experimental department, but not commander...
