Talking of jokes. Two little old ladies were walking through town, when they were confronted by a naked male flasher..... One was reported to have had a stroke.... The other sadly could not reach.

Just had another thought, a mate had similar problems with his stag. We replaced everything and it still had the problem So he bought a new electronic ignition as that was the only thing not changed, part way through stripping the dizzy we found the earth wire was broken...... It did'nt look broken untill it was moved... so it was making and breaking contact. New wire fitted, problem gone It's very easy to miss.

The washer does not make a lot of difference as you would hear it if it was'nt seating right. If you have dropped a plug when cleaning them? Then you could have damaged the porcelain or simply shut the gap if not checked before fitting.

Hi Dave, It only needs a little drop, my dizzy does the same. Mine also has a small hole on the base plate to drop a bit onto the bob weights, but only use a little as to much gums everything up.

Hi Wayne, how far are you planning to go with the restoration? Nut and bolt or general refurb. White does suit Spitfires

I would have thought it would be there after 20 seconds? Have you tried loosening the oil filter to see if oil is there? If it has been converted to spin on, try filling the filter with oil to prime it.

Hi everyone, Has anyone used this stuff on their car's? It sounds good but i dont think i would it for really a muddy car. I was thinking of using it when the car is not really dirty but just dusty and a bit of fly poo and dead bodies.
Tony.
Ps, Is any make better than others?
