Keith Nock
Has anyone fitted these .eBay item number:351311884449 a little bit expensive but should be more durable than the vinyl from JF customs Regards keith
Mjit
"Need to be glued over your origninal trims". For £130. When you can buy a full cow hide on eBay for £80. Think I'd just buy some leather and cut it myself.
chrishawley
4 hours ago, Keith Nock said: eBay item number:351311884449 Not used those particular ones but have done a couple of sets using the kit from ParkLane. My experience is that it's not so easy as the Ads crack it up to be. The biggest challenge is dealing with the gather in the covering on curves and at the end of the end of the pieces. Even with vinyl (that I used) there was only just enough stretch to work out the gather for an acceptable appearance. I'd possibly add a note of caution about anything with added stitching - doubly so if in a contrast colour: A decorative line that doesn't run true makes itself very obvious to the eye. Keith Nock
Hi Ed That's interesting, but a bit more work than I want to do and the foam should be reusable, one of the few advantages of having a colder climate the foam doesn't deteriorate as badly as warmer climates. Whish the same could be said for body work other wise I wouldn't have spent 3 years doing mine a while back. Regards keith
Jase1969
I've just purchased a bag press to recover lots of my bits (have a TR4A to do as well). Hoping this will give an even finish.
