Clutch has no 'bite' or feel

Fitted a new mc/pedal pin and the correct pedal spring. Decided not to take pedal box off as 4 of the bolts are covered in underseal and paint which unless absolutely necessary I don't want to disturb. With the new spring it does feel better but not able to take for a spin as there are 40,000 runners passing our complex bellmouth!

First run out today and the clutch does seem better. More of a graduated pressure and no pedal spring noises! Almost certainly fitting the correct spring solved the problem as the pins were not really worn. A good spray of lubricant on all the pedal spindles and everything was very smooth.
