Not just classic cars but a bit more drama than static displays. All entries closed so only spectator tickets available. IIRC there was an article in The Courier not too far back but cannot for the life of me remember by who, but sure it was one of the Register Secretary's. Iain T Posted September 1, 2023 Author Report Share Posted September 1, 2023 Weather predicted to be fine so I've bought an early bird ticket £20 and will post some photos. The entry list looks very varied with lots of historic and vintage cars. I can't go through London and down the A3 because some healthy people are running a half marathon from Tower Bridge to Canary Wharf so it's round the M25 lottery! A few Triumphs but for me the star was the Vauxhall. The two GT40s have the monoques we made for Safir Engineering in the 80s. For me the Vauxhall was the star of the meet. I'll probably never see another and in that era Vauxhall were easily as good if not better than Bentley. I'm not a bike person but the Augusta was just 'right'.
