Exhaust to manifold nut and studs

Advice please on best way to remove the 3 nuts from the studs between the manifold and exhaust

Lots of Plus Gas applications and allow to soak over a few days. Then try. If they are still stubborn then heat is your friend.

if the nuts are wrecked then its simplest to cut the studs and fit new .

Thanks Pete,

Now separated and manifold out, studs look like they will be a buggar to get out. I have a stud remover so will try that first,  if not  I think it will be a cut off flat and drill out - what fun!!

All now removed, that stud remover you recommended about 4 years ago now Pete came into its own once again.  Great to have the right bit of kit!!

Anyway  now realise I have the mk1 unf studs and not the unc ones fitted to the mk2 manifold grrrrr.. can any one advise if these are interchangeable or should I buy unc?

And if the latter, does anyone need  three unf ones with the brass nuts????
