rulloyd
The o/d loom I bought for my o/d conversion excluded an earth wire for the inhibitor switch. Is it sufficient just to wire to a bolt/nut in the gearbox please? many thanks Rich
Pete Lewis
yes if the switch is earthing the relay depends if the switch earths or is in the live feed there are two schemes of wiring the od you need a relay as d types take 10+amp to pull in then a switch in the solenoid cuts to a holding coil of 0.5amps the 10amp is only for a second or two ,thats so long as the stroke is set correctly .
