Head skim for low compression conversion to high compression

No as you have already skimmed your head measure the thickness first or tell the machine shop to make the thickness 3.3"

Just taking off 0.1" you may be taking off more than you want.

Thinking about it 0.1" will probably be too much Kevin as the rocker is roughly the same measurement from the pedestal to each tip so when the pedestal is raised the valve end stays where it is and the pushrod end will go up by about double the packing thickness. Obviously the less you go up the less of an angle from horizontal the rocker will sit at...
