HERALD/VITESSE RIGHT HAND SIDEWALL BOOT PANEL

Hi my sidewall boot panel on my Vitesse Saloon is a bit bent & torn - though good enough to make a template - It looks like thin grained hardboard - can this be purchased or has anybody bought another suitable product - lastly there are 3 retaining holes - I have no clips - any advice here would be appreciated

I used a carpet off cut to line the boot, cut and glued to replace the card panel and also a section to

trim the tank.....cosy

I think the material is called millboard and I'm sure it can still be purchased or something very similar. Probably worth giving Woolies http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/ a shout and see if they can assist; if not they may be able to suggest other outlets. 

 

Some Google searching may well flag up some other stockists.

Hi Richard - Thanks for the name "Millboard " Woolies was the cheapest if you take account of postage - Im going to try and repair / spray the current one and if it looks naff will go down the Woolies route

if youre close you can see the carpet .....its in there ....

    good for sound deadening on the inner wings too
