68vitesse Posted April 29, 2017 Report Share Posted April 29, 2017 Been thinking about rewiring headlights for a while through relays, as recommended by others, checked the voltage at the headlights and surprised at the difference from the battery. So it looks like I have found myself another job, one of the battery cells was venting so might also need a new battery soon. Regards Paul Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Pete Lewis Posted April 29, 2017 Report Share Posted April 29, 2017 with all the old wiring and switch gear and low grade snap connectors you can get very low readings at the front end , thats why a new direct feed with the old wires triggering the relays will really give the old glow worms a new lease of brightness going for modern lenses and bulbs is the next step in illumination so get the volts up and see how they improve , you will be amazed Pete Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
