Rear seat belt Vitesse

Hi roadster63,

if it's a convertible, you will struggle with the top fixing (at shoulder level) as there is nothing structural on the car at this point.  If it's a saloon, I imagine you can use the rear deck for the top fixing.  A good spreader-plate will be essential.

The GT6 inertia reel belt uses the old static mounting point to elevate the belt. So the belt is at an angle of perhaps 30 degrees to your shoulder. This works fine, the belt doesn't have to be horizontal and you can put a fixing point lower down, but as said a spreader plate will be required. You normally get spreader plates if you buy a kit, from the club shop.
